Disomimba brings bronze, silver

Usman Disomimba, a BS Diplomacy and International Relations student of RC- Al Khwarizmi International College won in two categories of the 1st Lanao Del Sur Karatedo Tournament held on June 30, 2009 at Social Hall, Provincial Capitol, Marawi City.
He got the silver medal in 60 kilogram category and the bronze in the open weight category, where all athletes are allowed to play. According to Disomimba, he was overwhelmed to win because he was not well-trained during the competition.[\j]
The said competition is one of the highlight activities of celebrating the 50th anniversary of Lanao Del Sur. Its primary objective is to promote Meranao image that they are able and capable to be engaged in sports.
