Academic Features
- A Trimester Offering allows regular students to finish a 4-5 year course in only three (3) years. More brilliant students can graduate even earlier.
- A Flexible Curriculum essentially does not require prerequisites. Course content may be modified to suit the individual needs of students, thereby making graduation even faster to attain.
- A Placement Examination can accomodate even the least prepared students through appropriate academic intervention programs. It may also allow brilliant students, who advance beyond the freshman level during their admission, to enroll immediately in higher subjects and to suit the individual needs of the students.
- Acceleration by Examination allows brilliant students, who are either on self-study or tutorial, to earn advance credits by passing examinations for subjects, without necessity of attending classes, thereby facilitating further earlier graduation.
- A Credit cum Audit grading system allows students to finish a degree with a perfectly clean academic record: no failures, no incompletes, no lapsed grades, and no dropped subjects.
- An Honor's Program streams brilliant students to graduate with honors upon close academic supervision and guidance. More determined students can graduate with honors by their own choice and even obtain master's degree along with bachelor's degree within four (4) years. AKIC shall help facilitate the release of corresponding Civil Service Comission (CSC) eligibility.
- Pre-board Course Sessions are built into curricula of all degree programs which require licensure examinations to ensure that the graduates pass the said examinations
- Global Exposure in major courses affords the students training under world-class professionals here and abroad.
- Authentic Practicum and Community Immersion require rigorous practice of actual work in real institutions, agencies, establishments and communities.
- Total Leadership Development requires mastery and refinement in leadership, personality, public speaking, technical writing, organizing, research, and evaluation and other useful skills required in actual professional and technical work so that graduates do not need further training by agencies hiring them.
